Alkitab Mengubah Segalanya

Bacaan:

Matius 24:35, Matius 28:18-20

Yohanes 1:1; Efesus 3:20-21

Shalom,

Bayangkan saat segalanya gelap dan tak berbentuk sampai Allah menghembuskan perkataan, ""Jadilah terang."" Seketika, semuanya berubah. Terang menembus kegelapan, dan apa yang tadinya tidak kelihatan kini terlihat jelas. Satu perkataan dari Allah mengubah segalanya … namun itu tidak berhenti sampai di sana.

Allah yang sama yang menciptakan alam semesta dengan satu hembusan napas terus menghembuskan hidup yang baru ke dalam dunia lewat kuasa Firman-Nya. Firman Allah terus menembus kegelapan. Firman Allah mengubah hidup dan memperbarui hati yang terluka. Firman Allah itu hidup dan aktif karena Dia hidup dan aktif. Dan kita memiliki akses tetap kepada Firman-Nya.

Semakin kita mempelajari Alkitab, semakin kita tahu bahwa Allah menginginkan semua orang di dunia untuk mengalami relasi secara pribadi, aktif, dan memulihkan bersama-Nya.

Apapun cobaan atau kesukaran yang kita hadapi, Firman Tuhan masih terus keluar dan menembus kegelapan. Firman-Nya akan terus mengubah orang-orang seperti Ghana, Sumu, orang-orang Populucan, Samuel Ajayi Cowther, dan William Tyndale. Dan Firman-Nya mempunyai kuasa untuk mengubah Anda.

Jadi berhentilah sejenak dan renungkan kisah Anda. Bagaimana Firman Tuhan mengubah Anda? Dan dengan cara apa Allah menjadikan kitab suci hidup dalam hidup Anda saat ini?

Rayakan apa yang Allah sudah lakukan dalam hidup Anda selama ini, dan renungkan apa yang Dia sedang kerjakan di dunia sekitar Anda.

Ke depannya, putuskan untuk ambil bagian di dalam kisah yang sedang Allah ceritakan. Ini adalah sebuah kisah yang dimulai ketika Ia berfirman dan menciptakan dunia, dan akan berlanjut sampai hari kedatangan Yesus kembali—sebuah kisah yang melampaui sejarah dan terus-menerus mengubah dunia.

Having understanding of the times is equal to having words of wisdom, words of knowledge, and discernment flowing through you. If we can hear God's voice then we can hear words of wisdom. If we can hear God's voice then we can hear words of knowledge. If we can hear God's voice we can have discernment. If we can hear God's voice we can have faith to declare those things that are not as though they are. If we can hear God's voice then all of the Gifts of the Spirit will flow through us. More than ever before we need to understand that in the last days, as prophesied by Joel and repeated by Peter, there will be widespread revelations from God. We will not receive revelations from God if we do not hear His voice. God speaks in a variety of ways. The most basic avenues God speaks to us are through the Bible, prayer, people, nature, dreams, and an inner sense of knowing something. Certainly and most definitely we have entered such an occasion. God is speaking today. It behooves all believers to embark on this most exciting journey of learning to hear God?s voice in as many possible ways as God is speaking.
