Renungan: Oct 24,2013 - Beribadah kepada Tuhan

1 Tim 4:8
Latihan badani terbatas gunanya, tetapi ibadah itu berguna dalam segala hal, karena mengandung janji, baik untuk hidup ini maupun untuk hidup yang akan datang.

Tuhan menginginkan kita utk beribadah krn dng beribadah bersama2 kita membangun Tubuh Kristus yg kuat dimana Tuhan Yesus menjd Kepala atas Gereja2 Nya. Ibadah berguna utk saling membangun, menguatkan satu dng yg lain serta saling mengasihi. Msg2 kita akan saling melatih diri utk memiliki Karakter Kristus, kita tdk bisa membangun karakter kita tanpa adanya orang lain dlm hdp kita. Mungkin ada org yg utk hdp kudus, utk belajar Firman Tuhan serta berusaha mend pribadi yg baik dng pergi ketempsat sunyi & bersemedi serta menjauhkan diri dr kehdpn yg normal ttp bkn itu yg diingini Tuhan krn Tuhan tau kita akan bertumbuh ketika kita hdp bersama2 saudara seiman, bersama2 kita akan diasah & dibentuk utk menjd pribadi yg berbeda.

Shalom sahabatku selamat pagi, kita tdk akan pernah memiliki karakter Kristus jk kita hdp sendiri, itu sebabnya utk setiap org yg baru percaya mrk hrs msk dlm satu gereja utk bertumbuh didlm satu komunitas anak2 Tuhan, disitulah kita akan belajar ttg segala hal & jgn pernah heran jk didlm gereja sering terjadi gesekan krn justru melalui gesekan itu kita belajar utk keluar menjd pribadi yg murni & kata org dunia tahan banting. Jgn pernah lari dr setiap masalah yg dihadapi ttp lalui semua itu utk menjdkan kita semkn dewasa didlm Tuhan spt Firman Tuhan katakan Ams 27: 17 Besi menajamkan besi, orang menajamkan sesamanya. Jgn pernah meninggalkan Ibadah kita ttp trs membangun kekuatan didlm Tuhan bersama2, pesan Tuhan dlm Ibr 10:25 Janganlah kita menjauhkan diri dari pertemuan-pertemuan ibadah kita, seperti dibiasakan oleh beberapa orang, tetapi marilah kita saling menasihati, dan semakin giat melakukannya menjelang hari Tuhan yang mendekat. If we can hear God's voice then we can hear words of knowledge. If we can hear God's voice we can have discernment. If we can hear God's voice we can have faith to declare those things that are not as though they are. If we can hear God's voice then all of the Gifts of the Spirit will flow through us. More than ever before we need to understand that in the last days, as prophesied by Joel and repeated by Peter, there will be widespread revelations from God. We will not receive revelations from God if we do not hear His voice. God speaks in a variety of ways. The most basic avenues God speaks to us are through the Bible, prayer, people, nature, dreams, and an inner sense of knowing something. Certainly and most definitely we have entered such an occasion. God is speaking today. It behooves all believers to embark on this most exciting journey of learning to hear God?s voice in as many possible ways as God is speaking.
