Renungan: Nov 29, 2013 - Mengenal Yesus

2 Pet 1:8
Sebab apabila semuanya itu ada padamu dengan berlimpah-limpah, kamu akan dibuatnya menjadi giat dan berhasil dalam pengenalanmu akan Yesus Kristus, Tuhan kita.

Kita perlu mengenal Tuhan Yesus dng benar utk kita benar2 mengerti akan pengharapan yg terkandung didlm Yesus, tanpa pengenalan yg benar akan Tuhan Yesus mk kita akan mudah dipengaruhi oleh ajaran2 dunia yg menyesatkan. Kita perlu berusaha dng giat utk mengenal Yesus tdk bisa hanya dng santai2 saja ttp trs membangun hubungan yg intim & pribadi dng Tuhan smp kita mengerti & mengetahui seluruh isi hati Tuhan, keintiman kita dng Tuhanlah yg akan membuat kita smkn mengenal Tuhan.

Shalom sahabatku selamat pagi, bangun keintiman dng Tuhan & belajar akan kehendak Nya dlm hdp kita serta berusaha melakukannya shg seluruh hdp kita akan mencerminkan pribadi Tuhan Yesus , krn apa yg dilakukan Tuhan itu juga yg kita lakukan. Firman Tuhan katakan utk berhasil mengenal Tuhan kita perlu iman & menambahkan kpd iman kebajikan, kpd kebajikan pengetahuan, kpd pengetahuan penguasaan diri, kpd penguasaan diri ketekunan, kpd ketekunan kesalehan, kpd kesalehan kasih akan saudara & kasih akan saudara kasih kpd semua org mk semua ini akan membuat kita smkn giat & bersemangat mengenal Tuhan. Biar ini yg Firman di Fil 3:10a itu menjd kehendak kita bersama : Yang kukehendaki ialah mengenal Dia dan kuasa kebangkitan-Nya. Jk kita tdk mengenal Yesus dng benar kita akan mudah putus asa menghdpi kesulitan ditengan dunia ini, ttp ketika kita mengenal Yesus dng benar kita memiliki keberanian & pengharapan dlm menghdpi situasi sulit yg mengancam iman kita. Yoh 14:6 Kata Yesus kepadanya: "Akulah jalan dan kebenaran dan hidup. Tidak ada seorangpun yang datang kepada Bapa, kalau tidak melalui Aku. GBU

Having understanding of the times is equal to having words of wisdom, words of knowledge, and discernment flowing through you. If we can hear God's voice then we can hear words of wisdom. If we can hear God's voice then we can hear words of knowledge. If we can hear God's voice we can have discernment. If we can hear God's voice we can have faith to declare those things that are not as though they are. If we can hear God's voice then all of the Gifts of the Spirit will flow through us. More than ever before we need to understand that in the last days, as prophesied by Joel and repeated by Peter, there will be widespread revelations from God. We will not receive revelations from God if we do not hear His voice. God speaks in a variety of ways. The most basic avenues God speaks to us are through the Bible, prayer, people, nature, dreams, and an inner sense of knowing something. Certainly and most definitely we have entered such an occasion. God is speaking today. It behooves all believers to embark on this most exciting journey of learning to hear God?s voice in as many possible ways as God is speaking.
