Manusia Baru

Bacaan 2 Kor 5:17
"Jadi siapa yang ada di dalam Kristus, ia adalah ciptaan baru: yang lama sudah berlalu, sesungguhnya yang baru sudah datang."

Orang didalam Kristus adalah orang yang harus percaya dan terima Yesus Kristus sbg Tuhan dan juru selamat.

Bukan hanya beragama kristen tetapi harus memiliki personal relationship dengan Yesus Kristus.

Apa itu manusia baru?
Bukan hanya dg selalu berkata "Shalom", "Tuhan memberkati", "Halleluya"... Atau tidak boleh nonton, baca majalah, dengar lagu dunia, dll.

Manusia baru sm dg Hidup berkualitas - the quality of God

Berikut ciri2 manusia baru (baca: Efesus 4:17-32)

1. Berkata benar (ay.25)
Manusia lama suka berdusta atau berbohong.

Jangan suka bersumpah (kata Yesus) dlm Mat 5: iya katakan iya atau tidak katakan tidak.

Bila suka berdusta biasanya orang hidup dlm kecemasan, takut, curiga, tdk tenang. Tp bila orang jujur akan hidup tenang, damai sejahtera, tdk ada rasa takut dan jadi berkat.

2. Menguasai diri (ay.26-27)
Paulus berkata apabila engkau marah jangan berbuat dosa... Segera selesai, jangan disimpan, jangan beri kesempatan kpd iblis.

Jangan biarkan/ditahan rasa amarah tp harus marah secara cerdas dan kuasai diri, fokus pd pokok permasalahannya (jangan merambat ke hal2 yg lain).

3. Bekerja Keras (ay.28)

Manusia Lama: suka mencuri
Manusia Baru: bekerja keras dg tangannya sendiri dan bkn utk gengsi atau kesombongan dg tujuan utk berbagi kpd orang miskin/susah.

Kisah 20:35, ... Lebih baik memberi dari pada menerima.

Manusia baru "Harus mampu berkata cukup" supaya tidak serakah.

4. Perkataan yang membangun (Ay.29)
Lama: perkataannya kotor, sadis, menjatuhkan, dusta, dll.
Baru: perkataannya selalu yg positif, membangun, menolong, jujur

5. Penuh Kasih (ay.31-32)
Lama: kepahitan, kemarahan, gosip, kekejaman, sakit hati, tdk puas, sensitif
Manusia baru:

Hati yg gembira adalah obat yang manjur

Jangan biarkan kita tidak mau mengampuni, atau tidak memberi kasih, pada saat kita ditekan atau dlm situasi yg tidak baik. Hadapi dan jangan dihindari!

If we can hear God's voice we can have faith to declare those things that are not as though they are. If we can hear God's voice then all of the Gifts of the Spirit will flow through us. More than ever before we need to understand that in the last days, as prophesied by Joel and repeated by Peter, there will be widespread revelations from God. We will not receive revelations from God if we do not hear His voice. God speaks in a variety of ways. The most basic avenues God speaks to us are through the Bible, prayer, people, nature, dreams, and an inner sense of knowing something. Certainly and most definitely we have entered such an occasion. God is speaking today. It behooves all believers to embark on this most exciting journey of learning to hear God?s voice in as many possible ways as God is speaking.
