Renungan: August 8,2012

1 Kor 9:25
Tiap-tiap orang yang turut mengambil bagian dalam pertandingan, menguasai dirinya dalam segala hal. Mereka berbuat demikian untuk memperoleh suatu mahkota yang fana, tetapi kita untuk memperoleh suatu mahkota yang abadi.

Kita semua yg berjalan bersama Tuhan dan didlm Tuhan tdk hanya sekedar berjln akan ttp kita hrs berlari utk mencapai tujuan akhir kita yaitu mendptkan Mahkota yg abadi yg sdh Tuhan persiapkan buat kita yg sampai pd tujuan akhir. Artinya kita akan senantiasa berlari, memenangkan pertandingan demi pertandingan dan akhirnya sampai Final dan keluar sebg Juara yg siap menerima Hadiah terbesar yg Tuhan janjikan bg anak2 Nya yg setia. Hidup seturut kehendak Tuhan itu adl juga suatu gelanggang pertandingan dimana kita akan berusaha mengalahkan setiap keinginan daging, keinginan pribadi dan mengikuti Yesus, setiap kl kita memenangkan pertandingan kita mk buah2 pertandingan itu akan muncul dan termaterai dlm hidup kita, apa itu buah pertandingan yaitu buah Roh (Gal 5:22-23)

Shalom sahabatku selamat pagi, buah2 Roh adl buah dr kemenangan kita dan juga senjata bg kita utk memenangkan pertandingan demi pertandingan dlm hidup kita smp kita mencapai garis finish & menerima mahkota abadi. Salah satu buah roh yaitu Penguasaan Diri yg penting utk terus kita gunakan dlm setiap pertandingan kita krn tanpa penguasaan diri kita akan sembarangan & tdk fokus, kita bisa saja melenceng dr Tujuan akhir oleh krn itu Paulus berkata: Sebab itu aku tidak berlari tanpa tujuan dan aku bukan petinju yang sembarangan saja memukul (26) artinya kita tdk akan sembarangan memukul kl kita dpt menguasai diri. menguasai diri artinya selalu berpikir terlbh dahulu sblm bertindak, berpikir & memiliki wkt utk berkonsultasi dng Tuhan. Org yg tdk bisa menguasai diri cenderung gegabah dlm bertindak, mudah marah, emosi dan cenderung selalu berpikiran negatif. Kalau kita mau memenangkan pertandingan kita selanjutnya mk kita perlu menang atas penguasaan diri spy kita dpt terus keluar sbg pemenang bahkan lbh dr pemenang. Kuasailah dirimu & jadilah tenang shg kta dpt berdoa, mendengarkan Tuhan & melakukan kehendak Nya. GBU

If we can hear God's voice then we can hear words of knowledge. If we can hear God's voice we can have discernment. If we can hear God's voice we can have faith to declare those things that are not as though they are. If we can hear God's voice then all of the Gifts of the Spirit will flow through us. More than ever before we need to understand that in the last days, as prophesied by Joel and repeated by Peter, there will be widespread revelations from God. We will not receive revelations from God if we do not hear His voice. God speaks in a variety of ways. The most basic avenues God speaks to us are through the Bible, prayer, people, nature, dreams, and an inner sense of knowing something. Certainly and most definitely we have entered such an occasion. God is speaking today. It behooves all believers to embark on this most exciting journey of learning to hear God?s voice in as many possible ways as God is speaking.
