Melayani Tuhan

"Tidak ada suatu yang kebetulan dalam hidup orang percaya"

Bacaan: Yoh 4:1-42

Melayani Tuhan adalah kewajiban bukan pilihan dan merupakan suatu kasih karunia. Tapi untuk melayani TUHAN, ada syarat yg harus kita pahami:

1. Miliki hati yang rindu
- Jangan punya motivasi melayani hanya krn supaya dipandang oleh orang
- Melayani adalah tabungan di sorga "Kumpulkan hartamu disorga yg ngengat tak dpt merusaknya"
- Kerinduan utk melayani akan terlihat, Bila kasih mula2 menjadi dasar pelayanan kita.

Yoh 4:15 Kata perempuan itu kepada- Nya: "Tuhan, berikanlah aku air itu, supaya aku tidak haus dan tidak usah datang lagi ke sini untuk menimba air."

- pelayanan yg Tuhan Yesus inginkan sebelum naik kesurga adlh "Pergi dan jadikanlah semua bangsa muridKu"

- Rajin itu baik tapi (Amsal 19:2) "Tanpa pengetahuan kerajinanpun tdk baik, orang yang tergesa-gesa akan salah langkah."

- Kita harus mengerti Bahasa Yesus - Yohanes 8:43 Apakah sebabnya kamu tidak mengerti bahasa- Ku? Sebab kamu tidak dapat menangkap firman- Ku.

Yoh 4:16-17
- Hati yg rindu blm cukup tapi harus hati yang benar (jujur) juga

2. Miliki hati yang jujur
Ada tantangan yg tdk mudah dlm pelayanan apalagi utk berkata jujur:

Mat 5:37 Jika ya, hendaklah kamu katakan: ya, jika tidak, hendaklah kamu katakan: tidak. Apa yang lebih dari pada itu berasal dari si jahat.

Mat 7:23 Pada waktu itulah Aku akan berterus terang kepada mereka dan berkata: Aku tidak pernah mengenal kamu! Enyahlah dari pada- Ku, kamu sekalian pembuat kejahatan!"

3. Miliki pengetahuan Rohani (Ayat 25)

Mat 22:29 Yesus menjawab mereka: " Kamu sesat, sebab kamu tidak mengerti Kitab Suci maupun kuasa Allah!

Ayat 26, Yesus menyatakan diri-NYA
Dari wanita yg tdk dianggap dan dilecehkan manusia sebaliknya bisa dipakai Tuhan utk menyelamatkan banyak jiwa.

Yoh 4:39 Dan banyak orang Samaria dari kota itu telah menjadi percaya kepada- Nya karena perkataan perempuan itu, yang bersaksi: "Ia mengatakan kepadaku segala sesuatu yang telah kuperbuat."

Now more than ever before we need to press into hearing what the Spirit of the Lord is saying today. We need to know Him. I often will say as I instruct ones in the prophetic that all of the gifts of the Spirit flow through the prophetic. Being a prophetic person is one who is able to hear from God. We all hear from God to a certain extent. The sons of Issachar had understanding of the times and they knew what to do. Having understanding of the times is equal to having words of wisdom, words of knowledge, and discernment flowing through you. If we can hear God's voice then we can hear words of wisdom. If we can hear God's voice then we can hear words of knowledge. If we can hear God's voice we can have discernment. If we can hear God's voice we can have faith to declare those things that are not as though they are. If we can hear God's voice then all of the Gifts of the Spirit will flow through us. More than ever before we need to understand that in the last days, as prophesied by Joel and repeated by Peter, there will be widespread revelations from God. We will not receive revelations from God if we do not hear His voice. God speaks in a variety of ways. The most basic avenues God speaks to us are through the Bible, prayer, people, nature, dreams, and an inner sense of knowing something. Certainly and most definitely we have entered such an occasion. God is speaking today. It behooves all believers to embark on this most exciting journey of learning to hear God?s voice in as many possible ways as God is speaking.
